The times we are living in… I don’t even know where to start.

In this past year of incredible challenge and uncertainty —with so much heartache all around us— it has been difficult to stay motivated or inspired to do… anything.

For this reason, I wanted to use my camera to document the way New Yorkers have been thriving despite the circumstances with their characteristically fierce and unapologetic nature.

This series of photographs has no specific focus or theme; rather, they depict me, my neighbors and friends sharing moments on the streets of downtown New York City where I live.
